International Travel Health Consultation
Definition
International Travel Medicine is the medical field dedicated to risk assessment and clinical advice prior to international travel, taking into account the destination, the duration of the trip and each person’s individual characteristics.
At Clinimed, this care is provided to people preparing to travel abroad, ensuring a rigorous, personalised medical approach adapted to each travel context.
The aim is to prepare the traveller from a health perspective through an individualised assessment and recommendations tailored to each itinerary. This includes, among other aspects, evaluation of destination-related health risks, vaccination and prophylaxis recommendations, guidance on preventive measures during travel and, when clinically indicated, appropriate medical prescriptions.
Care is provided via teleconsultation, allowing greater convenience and flexibility, without the need to travel to the clinic, while maintaining the same standards of clinical rigour, confidentiality and quality of care.
Medical care is provided by a physician with specific training in Travel Medicine, based on the most up-to-date international recommendations.
Scheduling is simple and requires advance payment. For further information or to book an appointment, please contact Clinimed.
