The urologist is responsible for the diagnosis and treatment of illnesses in the urinary tract in both males and females along with the male reproductive system.
Areas of note include the treatment of incontinence, whether female or male, lithiasis (stones in the urinary tract), diagnosis and treatment of problems relating to the prostate, oncologic urology and andrology (male sexual function).
